Paul Stopped in Metroplis, Illinois on the way home from Ohio to visit
Superman

Above and Right - Another detour on the way home took us to Columbus,
Ohio where Paul and Angela at at "The World's first
Wendy's". The restaurant has since been closed. |

We met Paul's friend from Houston, Fran Howell at the
restaurant. Fran was never captured by the camera! |

Becky and Paul took a trip on the Texas State Railroad for the first
time since the kids were small. At the time the attraction was to be
closed down due to lack of funds. |

Three more roadside attractions for Paul's list: The Big Chief Truck
Stop in Big Cabin, OK |

One of three giant grocery carryouts Paul saw while driving across
Illinois |

Seen outside the "Smoking Gun Barbeque" Restaurant somewhere
in East Texas. |

After Columbus, Paul and Angela headed east to Pennsylvania and took
in a game at PNC Park (Pirates) |

The Pennsylvania Trip also featured many covered bridges. Above
is the Bailey Bridge in Amwell Township, Pa. |

Day Bridge - Morris Twp, Pa |

Hughes Bridge - Amwell Twp (Closed to traffic) |

Plant's Bridge - East Finley Twp, Pa |

Wyit Sprowls Bridge - East Finley Twp |
I
"photo shopped" this image of Angela in Robert's Corvette on top
of a covered bridge photo in a failed attempt to fool Robert into thinking
we hijacked his car and drove it on a gravel road! |

2006 wound up with Becky surprising Paul with a trip to Branson for
the Andy Williams Christmas Show. Andy was busy so we had to pose
with a cutout! |
